We were honored to be chosen as the keynote speaker for the Fall Ladies Expo at Myrtle Beach Christian Church — it was a great day to be a girl! It’s always a special experience when you’re in a room surrounded by people that lift you up, support you, and come with open open hearts.
A few things we touched on, but topics we could speak on endlessly. Social media is not what it appears to be, while there may be things we omit from sharing online publicly, we all have our struggles. While some of us might look “perfect” (on the internet at least) we strive more to be perfectly-imperfect by embracing the period of life we are in.
Elizabeth spoke on the importance of choosing rhythm over balance… rhythm is much deeper than “going with the flow,” it’s about adapting your rhythm to your settings, you daily life, your vacations, and all of the in-betweens. You decide your own rhythm and you, as the female head of the house, you are the heart of the home. You set the rhythm and tone for your whole family.
Amanda spoke to the face that you can triumph over your day no matter what the day throws at you. Waking up on “the wrong side of the bed” should not set your mindset to have an off day — you control the path of you day. Every one in your home woke up today, what a true blessing that is. You can easily change your thought process and reset your day.
