Coming to Myrtle Beach in 2020 is The Maker Exchange: a dynamic, creative event space located in front of Nance Plaza. The female duo behind this upcoming addition to our community is Lauren Riddei, an interior designer, and Kendall Seagroves, a graphic designer.
With plans for The Maker Exchange to host events that include: Weddings, Corporate Gatherings, Workshops, Classes, Conferences, Non-Profit Events, and Private Parties.
The heart of Myrtle Beach has long-needed a facelift and The Downtown Master Plan has a vision to give the historic downtown just that. Seagroves and Riddei felt drawn to Myrtle Beach’s Arts & Innovation District immediately and set plans in motion “to cultivate creative opportunity and community connection through tangible gathering space.”
While it’s been a nearly two-year process to date, they plan to officially break ground within the next month and we cannot wait to see their modern-retro-vision come to life. Just standing in Nance Plaza with these two you could FEEL what the future holds for this historic location.
This creative space for community events in downtown Myrtle Beach is just what our city needed, and these two trailblazers are destined for greatness so be sure to follow their journey here: @themakerexchangemb
